If we ask what is the secret of a good map for a competitive multiplayer FPS, we would be in trouble. It would probably be easier to state the defects of a bad map (this is the case, for example, of bad design in Operation Métro Battlefield 3 , which reduces the Conquest game mode in a race to the flag station and spam grenades and a consequent rockets to defend it from attackers unlucky), or make a list of those that remain in the heart of us players: Dust Counter-Strike , Caen of Call of Duty 2 (renamed Chinatown Modern Warfare ) or a Dustbowl Team Fortress 2 , for name but a few. The maps in Battlefield 3 available at launch are definitely good, apart from the aforementioned Operation Métro believes that there has never since the days of beta, but DICE and Electronic Arts have decided to publish an expansion with four additional maps, bringing the total to thirteen. Although Back To Karkand is free for all buyers of the Limited Edition game, there are players who do not, then there is the risk of creating an annoying gap in the community between those who have the expansion and those who do not have bought it.

Mechanisms are similar in the Achievement and Trophies and require operations like kill two opponents with winning five rounds of mortar or Squad Deathmatch Team to complete.

The new weapons seem there are memorable, especially because of the bad metal sight of some of them, but still increase the variety of equipment available to the player to customize their game experience and, above all, are not more powerful than those available initially and then do not put the players without the expansion in a disadvantageous position compared to others. Another benefit is also the Harrier jet, which can remain stationary in midair like a helicopter, but that's just as hard to fly like the other planes.
