THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: OVERKILL EXTENDED CUT free download with Crack

After a fleeting appearance rather than on the Wii, as well-received by critics, House of the Dead: OVERKILL (case obliges) is preparing to return to a field more suited to him, the market for PlayStation 3. In addition to being a title-style horror very violent and rude, and poorly suited to Nintendo, this edition presents in full support Move to the device. We tested a few levels below you can find our impressions.

TWO TRIGGER-HAPPY STRIPPERS

We must remember above all the news inserted in content and design: besides the classic "lick of paint" graphics, improved lighting and in detail, there are two exclusive levels and various bonus content. In these new stages, moreover, driving a pair of strippers appeared only as non-player characters in the original: Varlet and Candy.
Needless to say, their presence, and the new voice-created for the occasion, the vulgarity up generally well beyond the already high standards of the first issue. A first example comes from the extra levels, a zombie-infested strip club, in work of our two heroes. Dressed only in bras and miniskirts, when it goes well (or poorly, depending on your point of view) the two girls make their way into the room with blows of rifle and machine gun, openly insulting the undead which stand in their way. Surely welcome addition, for those who appreciate the tone “pulp” and have no problem to giggle for dopiness and sexual references. Type the animation of the hands of charging Varlet, which slowly moves the gun back and forth as if ... working. Luckily, the humor behind rampant violence and gore on every corner there is a fairly solid shooter on rails. Quick change of framing, frequent plot twists, hidden targets: hard to get bored, especially playing with a friend in cooperative multiplayer on the same TV classic. Obviously all the limitations of this kind remain valid as the linearity of the extreme levels, the default camera and then a general sense of deejay vu that might arise on the distance. To limit some extra modes have been included as the Hardcore Mode, where are those good shots to the head, and the Classic Mode, which offers as the only weapon the historic revolver. But the bonus is the most absurd of all modes "Shoot Me * from" (quoted text from the menus) are affected in which the words of the animated scenes as they arrive on the screen.

MOVE BETWEEN NECKLINES, MONSTERS AND INSULTS

The support of the motion controller is good with no particular surprises, because this device is slightly more advanced features than just a light gun. In any case, and as we have seen in other titles, the classic guns imitates quite well especially if you have optical accessories such as Sharp Shooter or the like, which give the feeling of wielding a real weapon (otherwise you'll have to make do by playing in a few places creative). It should be noted that the "hot spots" on the body of the enemies are reduced in size and quite difficult to detect in the general chaos of monsters and sudden changes in the frame. Thus, compared to other shooters that offer a very high margin of error, efforts should be really good to hit our target, not an easy task if we consider the speed of movement of the camera and the high number of enemies on screen. In addition to shoot with the T key (the trigger less) you charge the weapon with the Move button, while the "small buttons" square, triangle, and the like are used to switch weapons or throw grenades. All friendly and fast, so much so that one of the unlock able mode allows you to use even two at a time Move John Woo-style first manner. Remember that the motion controller (although not mandatory) is practically necessary, otherwise must be guided through a viewfinder joy pad, method impractical given the continuous bouncing of the camera and the high pace of the game.

WE'LL BE IN THE PLASTIC ZOMBIES

Looking at the realization, almost complete already tested in the preview code, there's still the best art direction more than just the detail, not to the levels of the best productions for PS3. Although reflecting a marked improvement in the characters and scenarios, stands out in a negative aspect of the "square" of woody environments and animations, as supplemented with new motion-captured movements applied especially to the cut scenes. In any case, the style dominating the polygons once again with the video noise and disturbance on old-fashioned movie film, dubbing (English only) stressed beyond belief and posters for each level, as they were horror films. A season all is the excellent soundtrack funk-jazz from the '70s that cut up the rhythm of rock music in the most chaotic ramblings and remains in the background in the menus and during quieter. The touches of class, despite the perhaps excessive vulgarity, also abound in the characterization of the characters and their dialogues, while the flow is generally good levels of supporting the most of the game play (and our movements with the controller). Summing up, the work done by Headstrong Games promises interesting for people who love a good shooter on rails and seasoned with humor and situations rather than virtual bloody offal. The action itself is not particularly original and recycles the classic themes of the old episodes in the series House of the Dead, but the renewal is at the level of style and design that deserves ample praise, now and in the first release on Wii. If you love the cinema of Tarantino and Rodriguez, Move and you have a device, you know what awaits you in the store a few weeks.
