About a year after the original game for the Wii (and which can govern the review here on Videogame. it), Activision and Euro COM back on our screens with Golden eye 007 Reloaded, a revised version of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 what was, in turn, a remake of the classic Nintendo 64. Obviously, Euro COM has taken steps to update the graphics and bring it up to the standards of high definition consoles and the game also features a novel new way, MI6, Bond puts it in the middle of a series of disconnected from the main story missions with objectives different and require different approaches depending on the situation. Last week we were invited by Activision in London to look at the game and try it first hand in all its modes on Xbox 360.

Golden eye 007 Reloaded offers a wide variety of game modes. The main one for a player is definitely the main story, which sees Bond pledged to resolve the classic situation of international crisis that threatens the entire world. As a structural level is identical to the Wii version, we refer to the review indicated just above for more details. But here we just note that the graphics update seems to have succeeded only partially. The game runs at 60 frames per second without loss of fluidity and shows remarkable effects of fine workmanship in some moments, offering a great sight. The faces of the main characters are built and animated very well and the English dubbing seems of high quality (thanks to the participation of actors like Daniel Craig and Judi Dench).

Disappoint but the textures of the environments, which sometimes seem to have been taken from the Wii version of weight and enter into the game after a not too accurate work to improve the resolution. The land is particularly neglected in particular, without the shadow of bump-mapping to enrich its visual rendering. Even the sight of some areas is quite disappointing compared to others. For example, the initial level of air strikes in positive due to rain and the effects of light, while the mission set in the night club does not have the same impact and it is rather disappointing. Even artificial intelligence routines, which were excellent in the Wii version, seemed far from blameless, enemies with properties in two steps from us (but this could be a problem linked to the level of difficulty for our test set).
