Among the many not yet touched by Game loft, famous for recycling all recyclable gaming, there was still the third-person action-shooter, the debtor to Max Payne and tormented heroes who love bullet time. Neither would have it, it is with this line that the French publisher offers one of his top summer titles, leaving for a moment from the model of free-roaming Gangster and the adventurous Shadow Guardian to embrace a contemporary classic crime story between police corrupt, drug traffickers, local lowest and most sordid all the clichés of the genre.

9mm sees us in the shoes of the agent John Cannon, in a classic suicide mission to defeat once and for all the most powerful drug lord in the city. The plot and characters is not much contour (including agent’s allies of John) who finds the time they leave, they are so stylized. But frankly, the narrative moves quickly into the background in favor of the game, also because,

Considering the longevity not so high (about four hours at the level of difficulty), you do not run the risk of boring words and rhythm, right on continuing exchanges of fire (there is even the option for melee ), is very high. The only variations are to be found in the shootouts and chases during interrogations, two junctures where we use the classic Quick Time Event swiping your finger in the direction indicated by the icons and, in the second case, touching the topics of discussion as we witness the beating of the green victim of the moment (a little 'what was happening in The Punisher and True Crime: New York City).

For the rest ready to surf classic third-person shooting, almost always triggered by a specific event and anticipated by a brief cut-scene showing the arrival of the enemy. Unfortunately there is no automatic cover system, but we can still take cover behind elements of the scenario and we often surrounded by five or six enemies at once. Relying on the iPad which icons are placed in a questionable (too far or too close to the second action to be taken), prepare to die very often. Fortunately, however, the checkpoints are common and help is also the classic bullet time to time, usable also swipe your finger in four directions to perform real dives in slow motion. It is not simply an accessory but an essential element of game play, definitely abused beyond belief, but always effective, funny and spectacular.

Moreover, with money earned at the end of each level, we can buy bullets, power-ups and special weapons defense, as well as unlock a good number of achievements. But there's more. 9mm it can also boast a decent segment on the local two-player multiplayer or online up to a maximum of twelve players. The modes are only two variations of Death match and Team Death match, and the maps are limited to four locations, however, very large, but the possibility of increasing the level of their alter egos and to improve the equipment make the clashes and sufficiently deep and enjoyable multiplayer for once, no lag deadly game experience. Not entirely convincing but the graphics, well done with regard to the game environments and some cut-scenes, but weak in the animation, detailed textures of the faces and in some really mediocre. Good English and well-aimed hand, dubbing the music, even if out of sync between the continuous lip contours and dubbing takes quite frankly laughable.
