Around here we have never hidden his admiration for the work of Mediatonic, a small independent team who has distinguished himself with his curious, funny, delightful PlayStation format titles published in Minis. The debut Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess and the next Who's That Flying?! They told a team of highly concentrated on solid, the gameplay of arcade games that appeal to those who want total mastery of a game system and control. And Tiny Claws 1000 continues that way, usually changing once again.

After the game platform and 2D shooter, Mediatonic has moved on a classical style of fighting, however, set on a structure horde. The protagonist of 1000 Tiny Claws is a young pirate armed with a cursed sword, improvidently extracted from the rock that kept it. The extraction has caused a leak of demonic hordes of insects and now our heroine is involved in a trip to try to repair the damage putting the weapon in his place. The positive side of the thing is that the sword, at least, is a formidable weapon.

1000 Tiny Claws is set in a world where pirates traveling on ships flying and moving from a floating island to another. Each of twenty-five levels that make the story mode is represented by one of these islands and the ambience around the gameplay revolves. Both the enemies that the protagonist, in fact, do not leave the stage when killed, but when they are thrown down dall'isoletta. Obviously, each enemy is more or less resistant to shock and, depending on the situation, led the attack, the proximity to the edge of the island, or ditches, is more or less easy to hurl away. The speech is similar to the protagonist, who enjoys an indicator of the defense (a kind of armor around the heart) which is reduced to once every shot: the lower the defense, the farther it is thrown when hit, the easier therefore end up below and having to restart the level.
