We have deliberately omitted mention of the single player campaign because the Swedish team, apart from the protagonists of the two spot on Bad Company, has never shone at the level of plot, narrative and characters, suffering quite clearly the superiority of Call of Duty. The breakers on board a fighter than a bomber, and the location of attack seem to put a little 'haphazard and half-heartedly for the small time, for both the banality of the actions to be performed and objectives to be accomplished.
THE CURSE OF THE SCRIPT
The main problems of the campaign, however, respond to the name of linearity, scripts, enemy intelligence and longevity. The road ahead is almost always required, with the inability to leave the area determined for more than a few seconds (on pain of instant death) and "paths" with no alternatives, which means very little space (if any) for sorties or attacks on other sides. The situations also tend to be repeated continuously, follow their companions, breaking down doors, defending a point on the map to be an attack, destroy a tank with anti-tank weapon, use a fixed location, wait for the wave of enemies and the trigger ' inevitable trigger to continue the mission and avoid an infinite respawning enemies. No upgrade or improvement of weapons, no means to drive (if not required in their time), no chance to get out of the game imposed sown.
Then we spread a veil on the Quick Time Event, totally unnecessary as well as a free and easy embarrassing, but also in understanding the enemy is unsatisfactory: the opponents almost never advance to flush them out, their movement patterns are very predictable and their reactions to our sight or a grenade make a little 'funny. Some hit the mark are scenic, fun sniping missions, the locations are quite different (except the usual garages, offices and corridors of power) and the defense of strategic points suggest a certain state of apprehension, but there is no escape from the model now prevailing in the "scripts and shooting" and those who expected something different and more detached from the dogma of "CoD" will be quite disappointed.
