It is nearly twenty years after the first of the Syndicate and a few less than that of the only official sequel appeared up to now, Syndicate Wars. All this time, over and over again we talked about, rumored, hoped for a return of the historic brand created by Peter Molyneux, but only in recent years, voices have become more concrete. It all revolved around a name: Star breeze. We still remember when, in late 2008, we visited their studios in Stockholm to try to preview Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena , and in front of the ban on visiting a certain area of the building, we were assured that yes, in there were working right on Syndicate. Three years have passed and here we are, veterans from the first test game.

The EA Showcase event in London has in fact offered the opportunity to try for the first time in single and co-op (but we can only speak of this in due course), the new creature of the authors of the aforementioned Chronicles of Riddick and of The Darkness . Syndicate is a game since the official announcement has sparked controversy because yet another recovery operation from the past in FPS perspective, but from what we saw and experienced, however, seems to have the potential to be an excellent title that the only reason that be set in a certain universe there (or, better, in a reworking of that universe).

As for the single player front, unfortunately, the ' Showcase EA did not take at nothing more than what you can see in Network for over a week, in the long game play movie here below, and that in principle speaks for itself. Far be it from us, then, waste time to tell you about it word for word, but we believe there is still scope for some impressions of the play and focus on the objective details and features that makes the movie does not fully light.

From the earliest moments of the game also highlights some characteristic features of Star breeze's earlier works, cutting deep, tough, bloody and not very interested in political correctness. Appearance, the latter, which fit together well in a brand like Syndicate and not by chance that shown so far makes this clear after all. The protagonists flaunt a disregard for human life and the victims side so that the net is to think that there will be controversy, but in fact could give the game an identity all its own, able to give him that perhaps lacks a little crudeness 'too much cyberpunk modern gaming. Syndicate's universe has always been ruthless and bloodthirsty, but a bill was put on a certain type of situations with characters made of a few pixels, an account will do so in the context of the current FPS. The first images in this sense, is promising.
