The appointment with the saga of Harada in Cologne is a concentrate of formats and products, in the sense that within a single presentation we are shown the new Tekken Hybrid Blu-Ray exclusively for PS3, which contains the film in CG with the HD remake of Tekken Tag Tournament, the prologue of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and even Tekken 3D 3DS Prime Edition for Nintendo. Obviously, there's a cab outside the door of room Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ... In short, a veritable binge of the Iron Fist Tournament to celebrate that keeps us company for at least three decades.

Where to start? From Blu-Ray for PS3, of course, saving, however, any comment on the quality of the movie, which you can read the review of the brave grope tasty . The most surprising thing is that among the extras, besides the possibility of seeing him in 3D, there are two pretty good features. Let's start with HD Tekken Tag Tournament (TTT from now on, otherwise we are not more out): the original game, as he explains Harada, came the crowning of the first cycle performed by the saga with the PS One hardware. To evolve the fighting to the next step in fact needed a generational change at the level of the platform. So it was with the introduction of PS2, which has seen its TTT among its first samples: a game with the structure from PS One cleared for the new course.

The new HD edition, which appears on the screen, has a very particular look, somewhere between a game and that of the previous generation. The reason is obvious: the textures that are the characters have been completely redesigned, while their polygonal models have remained virtually unchanged. The curious thing is that the models have many more polygons than those of Tekken 6 , so to speak, and this is because the times were not yet appropriate graphical techniques to represent the complexity (such as shades and other graphics wizardry have emerged in recent years). In addition to these improvements, the trophies were also introduced, for the joy of completes, and, above all, the Tekken Bowl, bowling simulation of crowds at the time received numerous approvals.

If TTT closed loop to open a new one, the same may hold true for TTT2 (and, in effect, there would be: three episodes per cycle). In fact, when the team Harada has finished working on Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion and began to think about future projects, the choice fell on a new episode in its own tag. And mind you, to Harada and his team is an experience of different game in a consistent manner, so as to deserve a genre in itself. This is because the nature of the double in a sense changes the strategy of fighting and did not want to cause confusion among fans. So it was decided to separate the two experiences.
